FIRST FIRST LADY Some digital work I'm doing for a school project. Many hours put into it, and there's really no deeper meaning. It is what it is. Disturbing. WARM UP Quick sketch of Shaddai, my most willing and available model. 10-15 minutes in my trust sketchbook, with my trusty led holder. STILL LIFE? NOT QUITE... Second time drawing Evelyn, though she was moving quite a bit during the whole session. There would be still moments, but they were few and far between. However, she stuck around for a while, which I really appreciate. Picture turned out alright. Maybe a tad elongated horizontally, and the eye may be a bit over-sized, but ah well. Still having a lot of fun with the models, and I hope we keep up the pace. SARA M., MARK II Second take of a different Sara which was much more successful than the first. Busted out the charcoal pencils and attempted to re-familiarize. This was the result: BUSY DAY Two models yesterday, which is really good for the sake of practice. Works turned out decent, though hopefully I'll continue improving as I do more. That's the idea, anyway. GETTING BACK INTO THE GROOVE Tonight, awesome Evelyn came out to pose for me, and did a fantastic job. Felt pretty good about this one the whole way through. Must have been the green paper... COOLEST GIRL IN THE WORLD! Random pen drawing I did of Shaddai's profile yesterday. We were waiting outside of Barnes and Noble's at the mall for Jose's 3 hour haircut to finish...might as well be productive -_- MORE HOME LIFE DRAWING Third night of life drawing. Really had issues with this one, in that, I couldn't get it to look like the person I was drawing. Thus, it's not terrible, but it's dead to me, all the same...thanks Sarah. |
